Slocan Valley Silver Lead Zinc Camp Set to Rise Again
Slocan Valley Silver Lead Zinc Camp Set to Rise Again
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: June 28, 2017
Momentum PR is pleased to have produced an informative and comprehensive report on Klondike Silver, available on the Momentum PR Website.
Klondike Silver Highlights:
- – Klondike Silver has the largest land package in historic silver camp
– Klondike is the first company to apply modern exploration techniques to the historically prolific region
– Richard Hughes – who assembled Klondike’s land package previously assembled Integra’s Lamaque Gold Project which is now valued at $590 Million
– Potential for 50-100 years of production left in Klondike’s land package
– Low Capex assets with an existing mill on site
Minefinder Richard Hughes, who assembled the land package that became Integra Gold’s Lamaque Gold Project (Eldorado Gold recently offered $590 million to acquire Integra), also spent 10 years assembling Klondike Silver’s Slocan Valley land package. Along the way Hughes also discovered the Hemlo, Golden Giant, Golden Sceptre, Balmoral and Beaufor mines.
Historically, more than $35 billion in current values were taken out of the Slocan camp in silver, lead and zinc but the valley was never mined out. Instead, it fell prey to the cyclical nature of the mining industry and how it was originally staked in very small 1,500 by 1,500 foot claims. Because every claim holder thought their property was beyond value nobody would sell a claim; and because existing mines couldn’t expand, mining gradually tapered off and stopped.
That was in the 1890s. Now, Slocan – one of the five largest historic silver camps in Canada – is set to rise again, as Klondike Silver (TSXV: KS) gets set to launch exploration work on their 110 square km property.
Geologist David Makepeace – who was responsible for mining and exploration for the Silvana mine in Sandon (Dickenson Mines Ltd. 1983-1989) – believes that there is enough silver left in the camp to last 50-100 years at 100 tons per day.
Makepeace is currently building a 3D geological map of Slocan, which is expected to be finished in Q4 2017. When it is complete it will be used to establish drill campaign targets.
Klondike Silver will also benefit from a low capex. To begin with, the company already has a permitted 100 ton per day mill at Sandon; and secondly the company will be drilling from inside existing adits which means they don’t have to drill deep. Because the drill teams will be working inside a mine, they will not have to stop for winter.
Klondike has an added bonus: it is sitting on a zinc stockpile in the form of cobbed material left outside the mines when the price of zinc was so low there was no point in processing it. That zinc is now worth good money.
The Momentum PR informative and comprehensive report on Klondike Silver is available on the Momentum PR Website.
If you would like more information on Klondike Silver; listed on the TSX Venture exchange under the symbol KS, and with a market cap of C$6.15 million, or would like to arrange an interview with management please contact:

Equitorial Exploration Receives Drill Permit for its LNPG Lithium Property in NWT
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: June 28, 2017
Vancouver, BC, Canada / TheNewswire / June 28, 2017 – Equitorial Exploration Corp. (TSX-V: EXX, Frankfurt: EE1, OTCQB: EQTXF) (“Equitorial” or “Company”) Equitorial Exploration Corp. (“Equitorial”) is pleased to report that it has received a land use permit for its 100{92d3d6fd85a76c012ea375328005e518e768e12ace6b1722b71965c2a02ea7ce}-owned Little Nahanni Pegmatite Group (LNPG) Lithium Property in the Northwest Territories. The permit is valid for 5 years and allows Equitorial to conduct diamond drilling from a camp located on the property. The work program is scheduled to begin in mid-late July, 2017.
CEO, Jack Bal comments,
“Our LNPG property is worthy of serious attention. The LNPG NI 43-101 released March, 2017 concludes that there are ‘sufficient grades to bring the rock to within economic values’. The focus of our summer drill program is to further expand the economic potential of this significant Li property.”
Little Nahanni Pegmatite Group (LNPG) Project Highlights Please see Property Location Map below
-Contains a system of Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum-type (LCT) pegmatite dykes
-13km strike length deeply incised by several east- or west-facing cirques
-“Sufficient grades to bring the rock to within economic values.” (NI 43-101 March, 2017)
-Dyke continuity over a vertical range of 300+ meters demonstrated by natural exposure and past drilling. Each “swarm” of dykes is up to 300 m thick. The dykes are well exposed on the cirque walls and strike northerly, with near vertical dips
-Where sampled, each dyke swarm is up to 52.60 m wide and contains multiple dykes that range from 0.2 to 10 m in width. Reliable channel sampling performed in 2016
-Careful measurement of dyke width and host rock intervals have enabled bulk samples to be calculated
-“Results such as 10.35 m at 1.13{92d3d6fd85a76c012ea375328005e518e768e12ace6b1722b71965c2a02ea7ce} Li2O, 71.1 g/t Ta2O5 and SnO2 are highly encouraging.” (NI 43-101 March, 2017)
Drill Program Summer 2017
The work program is scheduled for mid-late July and will include diamond drilling, channel sampling, resampling of 2007 drill core, and geological mapping and prospecting. Diamond drilling will target the pegmatite dyke swarms near the cirque floors in order to extend the vertical extent of these dykes. The 2017 field program on the Li Property will be managed by Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited (“Archer Cathro”).

Majescor/Albert Mining Commences Exploration on its Quebec Diamond and Gold Properties
Majescor/Albert Mining Commences Exploration on its Quebec Diamond and Gold Properties
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: June 27, 2017
Ottawa, Ontario / TheNewswire / June 27, 2017 – Majescor Resources Inc. /Albert Mining (“Majescor” or the “Corporation”) (TSX-V: MJX), an exploration mining Company and a leader in applying Artificial Intelligence and data mining technical services in the mining sector using its Computer Aided Resources Detection System (“CARDS”), is pleased to announce the initiation of its summer 2017 field program on its gold and diamond properties*, notably:
James Bay Kimberlite
The James Bay Kimberlite property which consists of 21 claims blocks (131 CDC claims) located in proximity to the Renard Diamond Mine and Stornoway’s Adamantin Project , will be investigated in early July through till sampling. Some of the glacial sediment samples will be collected immediately down ice from the 37 kimberlite targets that were identified and scored by rank of priority using the Computer Aided Resource Detection System (CARDS). This territory became a focal point for kimberlite exploration following the discovery of diamonds in the Renard and the Beaver Lake sectors. The helicopter-borne sampling will be carried out by two senior geologists and the samples will be promptly submitted to Overburden Drilling Management of Ottawa for the recovery and identification of kimberlitic indicator minerals.
Nelly Neilson gold and Laparre Kimberlite
Work on the two projects will be carried out in conjunction with exploration on the James Bay Kimberlite property. The Nelly Neilson and Laparre properties respectively cover anomalous gold grains and kimberlite indicator minerals in glacial sediment identified through previous regional sampling. The follow-up work will entail closely-spaced till sampling to confirm and better locate the source of the minerals. About ten till samples are planned at Laparre. Till fences, in contrast, are to be performed perpendicularly to the main ice flow at Nelly Neilson.
Currie-Madeleine Gold-Copper
The Currie-Madeleine property covers 4 gold targets, 1 copper target, and 2 copper-zinc targets, all generated by Albert Mining using its Computer Aided Resource Detection System (CARDS). It consists of 54 claims (CDC) distributed in two blocks for a total area of 3,030 hectares. The property is located in the Lebel-sur-Quevillion and Desmaraisville area and it rests on the prolific Archean Abitibi sub-province. Four gold showings grading over 1 g/t and two zinc showings grading over 1{92d3d6fd85a76c012ea375328005e518e768e12ace6b1722b71965c2a02ea7ce} have been reported in historical drill holes on the property. Many gold showings are described in the area and three gold deposits: Discovery, Lake Rose, and Flordin, are located within seven km of the property. After the compilation and integration of all geology and drilling reports, geophysical ground and recent airborne surveys, including data from adjacent properties, a first phase exploration program including field reconnaissance will be performed on the CARDS-generated targets. A high-resolution geophysical EM survey will follow. A detailed analysis of the data from the second phase will aid the company to re-evaluate the mineral potential of the property and determine the appropriate location and orientation of future drill holes.
Wachigabau Gold-Copper
The Wachigabau property covers 5 gold targets and 1 copper target selected from the CARDS computer program of Albert Mining. It consists of 33 map-designated claims (CDC), totaling 1,842.03 hectares. The property lies within the southern band (Caopatina Segment) of the Chibougamau-Matagami Archean greenstone belt. The Wachigabau property is located within a 15 km radius of 2 gold deposits (Short Lake & Mariposite) and 3 known gold and base metals showings (Lac Relique-Ouest, Simard & Lac Lapointe SE). A geochemical survey will be performed over the CARDS gold targets hidden below thick overburden so as to validate their mineral potential.
Mirabelli Gold
Majescor recently initiated its 2017 field season by completing detailed prospection and infill till sampling along the paved Radisson Road on its Mirabelli Property located in Quebec’s James Bay area. The suspected iron formation was observed in bedrock and samples were sent to the laboratory for gold and multi-element analysis. Till samples are being processed for recovery and identification of visible gold particles and heavy mineral fractions.

The Fountain of Youth May Be Just Around the Corner In Vancouver
The Fountain of Youth May Be Just Around the Corner In Vancouver
Sirona Biochem makes safer and more effective cosmeceuticals
Vancouver-based Sirona Biochem is on track to crack the global market for skin lightening products, a market that has been predicted by Global Industry Analysts to hit US$23 billion by 2020. If that isn’t enough the company is also developing a product designed to forestall facial aging. Zion Market Research pegs the global anti-aging market at US$216.52 billion by 2021. The Company’s skin lightening products are far safer and far more effective than those which are currently on the market.
In hindsight it is not that surprising that Vancouver is becoming a hotbed of discovery when it comes to turning back the ravages of time. Botox as we know it today for the cosmetics industry, after all, was popularized in Vancouver by the husband and wife team of ophthalmologist Jean Carruthers and dermatologist Alistair Carruthers. They discovered that a toxin named botox helped eradicate the lines and wrinkles caused by aging.
Sirona Biochem Corp. (TSX-V:SBM) is a discovery and development stage biochem company that has developed a proprietary way to treat carbohydrate molecules using fluorination chemistry. This process prevents molecules from breaking down when exposed to enzymes. This now opens the door to developing a new field of therapeutics.
The company also has an anti-aging product based on synthesizing the glycoprotein found in the blood serum of Antarctic water fish and is currently in the testing and validation stage. The glycoprotein helps preserve the fish and its cells from the freezing water. When applied to humans, it helps prevent skin cells from dying, and also protects them from the harsh glare of ultra-violet radiation.
The good news for Sirona, however, doesn’t stop there. The company believes their stabilized carbohydrate molecules have applications in the treatment of cancer, pain, diabetes and inflammation. Sirona has developed an SGLT2 inhibitor as a Type 2 Diabetes treatment. Research and consulting firm Global Data has predicted that the global type 2 diabetes market will almost double from US$31.2 billion in 2015 to US58.7 billion by 2025.
SGLT2 inhibitors are a recent development in the fight against Type 2 diabetes. Most traditional diabetes treatments work by controlling insulin production or regulating blood sugar levels. SGLT2 inhibitors work by acting in the kidneys to reduce the reabsorption of glucose into the bloodstream.
Sirona’s strategy is to do the basic discovery and development work on a given product, and then to license the technique or joint venture it for commercialization, marketing and distribution. In 2014 the company signed a licensing agreement with Wanbang Biopharmaceuticals for the Chinese market. Wanbang will develop and commercialize Sirona’s SGLT2 inhibitor exclusively in the People’s Republic of China. The company also has a licensing agreement with Obagi Medical Products for a skin lightening agent.
Sirona Biochem was founded in 2009 by CEO Dr. Howard Verrico. The first thing Verrico did was to acquire the exclusive global license from TFChem for its proprietary SGLT2 Inhibitor. TFChem is based in Rouen, France. Verrico thought enough of TFChem’s research that he then went on to acquire TFChem as a wholly-owned subsidiary from its founder Dr. Geraldine Deliencourt-Godefroy. She then became Sirona’s Chief Science Officer and largest shareholder. TFChem now acts as Sirona’s research and development laboratory. A respected scientist, Deliencourt-Godefroy has also received a variety of honours in France including the acclaimed Francinov Research and Innovation Medal, the French Ministry of Research Award and the French Senate Award.
The company sees the cosmetic and cosmeceutical industry as its first major market penetration target for two important reasons. The first is that, as noted above, the financial reward for creating a fountain of youth will be immense. Secondly, the amount of regulatory testing for cosmetics is miniscule when compared to that involved in the pharmaceutical industry. The company intends to use the cash flow created by its anti-aging platform and skin colour lightening products, to finance the creation of more traditionally flavoured therapies for things like cell preservation and anti-inflammatories.
The company’s development focus is based on three high-return fields of discovery and development:
- Therapeutics: diabetes, anti-inflammatories and anti-infectives
- Cosmeceuticals: anti-aging and depigmenting agents
- Biological Ingredients: inducers and adjuvants for biological development and preservation.
With an SLGT2 inhibitor in the pre-clinical stage and four cosmetic products in the testing and validation phase, the company has received revenues and will continue to do so in the future from Wanbang for its SLGT2 inhibitor. Sirona also receives revenue from Obagi Medical products for a skin lightener, one of three skin lightening agents under development. It is also working on an acne treatment, an anti-inflammatory and an anti-infective.
Much of Sirona’s work is ground-breaking. Stabilizing carbohydrate molecules opens up new fields for therapeutic interventions and may rejuvenate older treatments which became stalled. Synthesizing the glycoprotein found in the blood serum of Antarctic fish may produce a product that slows down the aging of skin. One way to illustrate its potential value is that when TFChem first synthesized the glycoprotein, cosmetic giant L’Oreal Group, the world’s largest cosmetics company slapped a field-of-use patent on it. As it turns out the first synthesis was not stable, but the later ones were, and L’Oreal was out of luck.
While Sirona is concentrating on developing cosmetic products, it hasn’t neglected the medical side of things. The company has a pipeline of products that are heading towards the market. The anti-aging compound is now in the testing and validation phase.
The company has a 52-week high of $0.20 and a 52-week low of $0.12. As of June 16, 2017, it was trading at $0.17. And if you were wondering, Sirona is the name of the Celtic goddess of healing.

Press Release: June 22, 2017
RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC–(Marketwired – June 22, 2017) – Puma Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PUM)(SSE:PUMA) (the “Company” or “Puma”) begins a trenching program at Murray Brook East Property. The reconnaissance program, aimed at providing the best land access and to evaluate the work needed to proceed with the more advance work as Trenching and drilling operations is done over the entire Murray Brook Project land package (7,678 hectares). It appears that most of the first priority targets are located within or very close to wood cutting areas and along logging roads, therefore minimum additional work will be needed to proceed with the trenching and stripping operations prior to the drilling program. Thus, the first area to be explored is the Murray Brook East Property.
Murray Brook East (4925)
The Murray Brook East Property (4925) consists of 245 claims (5326 hectares). Its eastern boundary is contiguous to the Caribou Mining Lease (# 246) and is located only four kilometers west of the producing Caribou Mine owned and operated by Trevali Mining Corp.
The previous operators of the Murray Brook Property conducted extensive preliminary exploration work from 2012 to 2015 which included geophysical surveys (HeliTEM, Magnetic, Gravity) and geochemical surveys (1,853 soil samples), bringing the property to drill-ready targets. The surveys identified 5 first priority targets to be explored. The previous drilling operation along the 7 km long favorable horizon was conducted in 1956 and included only 10 short holes.
Private Placement
Puma Exploration Inc. has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement financing of flow-through units with qualified investors, employees and consultants as well as with existing shareholders. The proceeds of the offerings will be used for the exploration and development of Puma’s properties in New Brunswick.
About the Murray Brook Project
The Murray Brook Project consists of three (3) distinct contiguous areas that cover more than 18 kilometers of the favorable rock hosting the operating Caribou Mine (Trevali Mining Corporation), the Murray Brook Deposit and the past operating Restigouche Mine. From east to west, they are the Murray Brook East Property (4925), the Murray Brook Mining Lease (# 252) and the Murray Brook West Property (7846). The Murray Brook East and Murray Brook West Properties have been subject to various degrees of exploration work and share the same potential of increasing the mineral resources defined at the Murray Brook Deposit.
