Alliance First Drill Hole Completed — Shows All the Characteristics of Gold Mineralization — Bissett Gold Camp, Manitoba
Alliance Mining Corp. (TSX-v: ALM) (“Alliance” or the “Company”) is providing an update on its drill program on its Packsack gold property which began on March 15th 2018, and is being supervised by Alliance’s consulting geologist William C. Hood P. Geo. The Packsack property forms part of the company’s Red Rice Lake gold project located in Bissett Manitoba.
The first hole of the approximately 1,000 metre drill program was drilled to a depth of 380 metres under the existing Packsack shaft. Drilling under the Packsack shaft has shown that shearing, late dikes, and quartz veining with sericite, pyrite and tourmaline extend well below the 150 metre level drift. The features and mineralization observed in the core “show all the characteristics of gold mineralization found in the Packsack veins and elsewhere in the Bissett Gold camp,” says Bill Hood, P.Geo.

Crystal Lake starts drilling at Nicobat
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: March 21 2018
Diamond drilling has commenced at Crystal Lake Mining Corp.’s 100-per-cent-owned Nicobat project (nickel-cobalt-copper-precious metals) in the Rainy River district of Northwestern Ontario. In addition, the company has expanded its deep penetrating airborne electromagnetic survey from the originally planned 500 line kilometers to 850 line kilometers.
Richard Savage, Crystal Lake Mining CEO, stated: “The historic zone outlined at the Nico1 Property, combined with today’s new technologies and a much better understanding of nickel sulfide deposits, gives us confidence that we’re on track for a new discovery in this under-explored district. We’re continuing to develop our pipeline of exceptional nickel sulfide targets across the 50 sq. km project area, and we look forward to providing regular updates through Phase 1 of this program.”
The first two holes at the Nico1 Property will undercut the historic zone to targeted depths of at least 400 meters and are designed to explore beneath the near-surface disseminated and breccia style magmatic sulfide mineralization. The boreholes will provide an ideal geophysical platform for Lamontagne Geophysics’ borehole electromagnetic survey work to detect nearby conductive targets that may correspond to semi-massive and massive sulfides.

Crystal Lake to start drilling at Nicobat
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: March 15 2018
Crystal Lake Mining Corp.(CLM:V) has provided an update on its 100-per-cent-owned Nicobat project, where the company is developing a pipeline of highly prospective nickel sulphide targets. Recently expanded to cover 50 square kilometres in Northwestern Ontario’s Rainy River district, Nicobat features excellent infrastructure (road, rail and power access) and a historic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineral zone defined by drilling more than four decades ago.
Highlights:
- Crews are mobilizing to commence drilling within the next seven days at Nico 1 on the western contact of the Dobie Intrusion (below and north of the historic zone);
- Lamontagne Geophysics Ltd. has been contracted to carry out surface and then borehole electromagnetic surveys upon completion of diamond drill holes at Nico;
- A deep penetrating EM survey will be flown by CGG Canada Services Ltd. over Crystal Lake’s claims including the Nico 1 and Nico 2 properties. The objective of the survey is to detect an electrically conductive signature of sulphide mineralization associated with mafic intrusive bodies and strong magnetic anomalies that may represent mafic-ultramafic intrusions under cover.
Crystal Lake Mining has assembled a proven geological and geophysical team to unlock the full potential of its Nicobat project which is being targeted for high-grade nickel, copper, cobalt and precious metal mineralization.
The Rainy River district is situated between major translithospheric faults, and the mafic-ultramafic intrusions in this region are prospective for magmatic sulphide mineralization.
The Nicobat project is near Emo, Ont., approximately 35 kilometres east of the Rainy River gold mine.

Arctic Star Mobilizes Drill, Timantti Project Finland
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: February 9 2018
Arctic Star Exploration Corp (TSXV: ADD) (OTCQB: ASDZF) (FSE: 82A1) (WKN: A2DFY5) (“Arctic” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that a diamond drill rig will arrive at site on its 100% owned Timantti Diamond Project in Finland (the “Project”) on February 12, 2018 and will commence drilling shortly after. The drill will test newly identified kimberlite targets.
Since early December geophysical crews have been active in the field conducting magnetic, electromagnetic (MaxMin) and gravity surveys over much of the 243 Ha Exploration Reservation area. In mid-January the Company deployed an excavator to collect till samples to further support geophysics results. The basil till covering potential kimberlites on the Project is only one or two metres thick.
The purpose of conducting ground magnetic, electromagnetic and gravity surveys is to search for new kimberlitic targets and to discriminate these from non-kimberlite geophysical responses. A total of 41-line kilometres of electromagnetic (MaxMin) is planned, of which approximately 50% has been completed. Approximately 35 kilometres of gravity survey is also planned, of which 55% has been completed. There are also 61-line kilometres of ground magnetics planned of which 35% is now complete.
The Wolf kimberlites are moderate magnetic highs in a fairly magnetically noisy background with iron formations and mafic volcanics producing similar or more intense responses. At this stage, there are over twenty magnetic anomalies that may represent kimberlite targets in the general Wolf area, the gravity and MaxMin survey will help further prioritize these targets prior to drilling. The Wolf kimberlites for example also have an electromagnetic response.
The excavator is sampling the basal till, “down-ice” of the more promising geophysical anomalies. Four targets have been tested to date, and the samples have been sent to laboratory to extract indicator minerals. The drill will be directed to any of these that report diamond indicator minerals.
The drill will also be utilized to further delineate the Wolf kimberlites and return a larger caustic fusion micro-diamond sample to further determine the size and grade for a decision to bulk sample these diamondiferous kimberlites.
Buddy Doyle VP of Exploration commented, “By rapidly deploying these different exploration tools to our exploration permit, we expect to obtain multiple layers of evidence of new kimberlites that can be drill tested. We know there are more kimberlites in this area by the expression of diamond favorable indicator minerals in the region, which the Wolf kimberlites cannot explain. The company also will produce a steady stream of caustic diamond fusion results from drilling the Wolf kimberlites, which, so far have produced encouraging micro-diamond counts. The next six weeks will be an exciting time for the company.”
The Qualified Person for this news release is Roy Spencer, Fellow AUSIMM, a Geologist of over thirty years’ experience in diamonds.
ABOUT ARCTIC STAR: The Company owns 100% of the recently acquired Timantti Diamond Project including a 243 Ha Exploration Permit and a 95,700 Ha Exploration Reservation near the township of Kuusamo, in Finland. The project is located approximately 450km SW of the operating Grib Diamond Mine in Russia. Arctic is commencing its exploration in Finland on the Timantti Project, where two diamondiferous kimberlites may represent the first finds in a large kimberlite field. The Company also controls diamond exploration properties in Nunavut (Stein), the NWT (Diagras and Redemption) and a rare metals project in BC (Cap).
Arctic Star has a highly experienced diamond exploration team previously responsible for several world class diamond discoveries.

Albert Mining Inc. Announces Results of Chapais Drill Program in Quebec
Momentum Public Relations
Press Release: January 24
Albert Mining Inc. (the “Company” or “Albert”) (TSX-V: AIIM), a mining exploration company and a leader in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced knowledge-extraction techniques in the mining sector, and Everton Resources Inc. (TSX-V: EVR) are pleased to announce results from their recent drilling campaign on the Chapais property which is situated immediately west of the Springer Copper Mine at Chapais, Quebec.
The drilling tested copper targets generated by Albert Mining’s proprietary CARDS 2D (Computer Aided Resources Detection System) system: The first hole (CHA-17-10) investigated Target A located at the hinge of a large fold which mimics the structural context at the nearby (3 km) Springer Mine. The two other holes (CHA-17-11 and CHA-17-12) were positioned on Target C located two kilometers to the northwest (Table 1). The core was logged by visual description and spot-checked for multi-elements by portable XRF. Selected core segments 0.5 to 1 meter in length were split and submitted to ALS Minerals for gold determination by Fire-Assay with AA finish, and for other elements by ICP-MS after partial digestion by aqua regia.
Table 1. Drill hole data.
Hole | Longitude | Latitude | Azm | Dip | Length |
id | (WGS 1984) | (?) | (?) | (m) | |
CHA-17-10 | 74? 52′ 40” W | 49? 48′ 05” N | 178 | -50 | 197 |
CHA-17-11 | 74? 54′ 07” W | 49? 48′ 40” N | 170 | -50 | 237 |
CHA-17-12 | 74? 54′ 07” W | 49? 48′ 40” N | 340 | -50 | 237 |
total | 671 |
The first hole intersected two one meter-thick (along core axis) mineralized zones assaying 1.61% Zn; and 1.74% Zn, and 0.59% Cu, respectively from 158.4 m to 159.4 m and 190.3 m to 191.3 m. These Zn – Cu values are associated with sulfidic and graphitic horizons in intensely folded fine-grained sediments of the Blondeau Fm. which locally shows a high zinc background (1000 – 2000 ppm). The first hole returned slightly anomalous gold values of 0.142 g/t Au over 1 m and 0.128 g/t Au over 0.5 m (along core axis), associated with semi massive sulfides. In the two last holes, pyroxenitewas observed to alternate with metasediments and volcanic flows of ultramafic affinities.
In addition to base metals, the Chapais property offers a strong potential for gold as exemplified by an historical reverse circulation drill hole that returned 6.29 g/t Au from a till sample (GM46158).
The scientific and technical content of this release was approved by Remi Charbonneau, P.Geo., a qualified person as defined by the National Instrument 43-101.
To quote Mr. Michel Fontaine, President & CEO of Albert Mining; “The encouraging results obtained from the short drilling campaign on the Chapais property will be followed by detailed IP geophysic surveying and additional till sampling”.
